The famous footballer will be heading out to Australia with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been enjoying some much needed time off lately.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have recently been spending time with Hollywood’s favourite couple, George and Amal Clooney at their Italian villa at Lake Como.
And when they return to take on their first royal tour together, heading to Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and the Kingdom of Tonga, the pair will once again be in the company of a famous face.
That’s because David Beckham is going to be joining them for part of the tour.
The couple will be spending lots of time around David while in Australia for the Invictus Games , as the footballer has just signed up as an ambassador for the event.
He shared the news in a post on Instagram : “I’ve been lucky enough to meet and work with many serving, veteran and wounded British armed forces personnel over the years and I’ve been humbled by the courage, resilience and spirit shown by each and every one of them.
“So, I’m incredibly proud to announce I will be an Ambassador for this year’s Invictus Games in Sydney. The entire Invictus Games team, led by the Duke of Sussex, has achieved remarkable things in such a short space of time, using sport as a powerful force to rehabilitate and unite and I can’t wait to be part of the energy and the excellence of the Games this year.”
