And it’s kind of lovely.
Meghan Markle is probably the most talked about woman in the world, from her powerful fashion influence to her transformation from Hollywood actress to full-on royal since assuming a Duchess title.
One of the most talked about aspects of Meghan’s life however is her relationship with her grandmother-in-law, the Queen.
Queen Elizabeth has made a noticeable effort with Meghan, making a lot of exceptions to welcome her into the fold, even inviting her to spend Christmas in Sandringham before she was officially a royal and of course inviting the former Suits actress to accompany her on her personal train to Cheshire – an honour usually reserved for senior titles. Even Prince William, Prince Harry and Kate Middleton are yet to receive the honour.
Basically, it is thought that the Queen has a soft spot for Meghan, something that could be explained by the now Duchess of Sussex’s birthday.

Meghan turns 37 this week, seeing in her first birthday as a royal on Saturday. But while the date will no doubt be an important one for the birthday girl, it will also hold particular significance for the Queen, with her mother sharing the same birthday.
Could that be part of the reason for the Queen’s fondness for Meghan?
Either way, the two women are close, and we’re sure the 92-year-old will be there to celebrate with Meghan as she welcomes in the big 3-7.
But how will Meghan be celebrating the day? Well according to royal tradition, the Duchess is banned from having a lavish party, recommended to have a small family celebration instead.
Whether she decides to follow tradition or not, we’re sure Harry will have planned something special for the big day.
Last year, the prince whisked Meghan off on a safari in Botswana, so it’s going to be a hard celebration to follow from home.
We hope Meghan has a very happy birthday.
