MEGHAN Markle was glowing as she made a surprise visit to the women’s charity.
Making a surprise visit to Smart Works in West London after her first royal patronage was announced on Wednesday, the 35 year old appeared in high spirits.
The former Suits actress’ new role means she’ll play a pivotal part in Smart Works charity, helping long-term unemployed women develop the skills they need to excel in interviews, return to the employment and transform their lives.
Warmly greeting Meghan on her arrival, the Duchess of Sussex was met by chief executive Kate Stephens and chair and founder of Smart Works, Lady Juliet Hughes-Hallett.
Sporting a black dress from maternity brand Hatch, Meghan’s blossoming baby bump was subtly visible whilst she wore a camel overcoat by Oscar de la Renta over her shoulders.
Adding a stylish twist to her ensemble, Prince Harry’s wife teamed her outfit with a pair of eye-catching cow print stiletto heels whilst her slender calves were visible thanks to the mid-length cut of her dress.
Styling her hair in her trademark bun, Meghan’s makeup was natural whilst she completed her look with some dainty gold jewelry.
Kensington Place announced the exciting news of Meghan’s patronage on their Twitter page, revealing: “The Duchess of Sussex will become Patron of four organisations that reflect the causes and issues with which she has long been associated including the arts, access to education, support for women and animal welfare.”
During the visit, Meghan took part in a discussion with volunteers and women they have helped succeed in job interviews.
Recently, Kate Middleton opened up about her sister in law’s pregnancy to members of the public during a visit to Leicester University, revealing she was excited for the new arrival.
According to The Mail Online, the mum-of-three exclaimed: “It’s such a special time to have all kiddies. And a cousin for George and Charlotte as well, and Louis. So it will be really special.”
