Meghan Markle is just weeks away from welcoming her first child, but she’s still showing no signs of slowing down.
And her hard work hasn’t gone unnoticed and there is one very important person who is reportedly very impressed – the Queen.
A palace aide told Vanity Fair: “The Queen is amazed by the duchess’ energy and stamina given that she is so heavily pregnant.
“For the Queen and her generation, you generally hid your bump and put your feet up in this stage of pregnancy, but Meghan hasn’t stopped.”
The Queen is so impressed there’s a chance Meghan might get a very special and very rare treat.
According to the insider the Queen rarely praises her family for their work, but will very occasionally write them a thank you letter.
The source said: “There may well be a letter waiting for the duke and duchess when they return. She respects hard work and loyalty above everything.”
Meghan’s exact due date hasn’t been officially announced but she told a well-wisher Baby Sussex should be arriving in April.
Ahead of the birth Meghan and Harry will be moving out of their Kensington Palace home, which is next door to Kate and William, and moving to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.
After their busy Morocco tour the couple spent an extra night in the country before flying back home.
The trip was arranged at the request of the British Foreign Office, and saw them visit a number of charities and organisations close to their hearts.
Their itinerary including trips to local schools and charities which help girls get an education, as well as schemes which support and encourage disabled children.
